Tuesday, April 6, 2021 - David & Friends perform for talk and presentation at
Minden (NV) Rotary Club at Carson Valley Inn at 11:30 a.m. Bill Melendres was on trumpet, George Worth was on
bass, Brandon Dodge was on drums, and I was on piano and trombone.
May 2021
Saturday, May 1, 2021 - Perform "second line" memorial for Will Rose in Silver City at
2:00 p.m. Will was a guitarist and entertainer. I was on tuba, Dean Carter was on trombone, Bill
Melendres was on trumpet, and Brandon Dodge was on drum.
Tuesday, May 11, 2021 - Mile High Jazz Band performs first dinner show (outdoors) at
Living the Good Life from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. This was MHJB's first gig in 14 months.
Saturday, May 15, 2021 - I perform on piano and trombone with Adam Cohen (guitarist &
leader), Tim Goldsmith (bass), and Brandon Dodge (drums) in front of Shelby's Bookshoppe in Minden from
11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
June 2021
Saturday, June 5, 2021 - I perform on piano and trombone with Adam Cohen (guitarist &
leader), JR Johnston (bass), and Neil Strocchio (drums) for first 2021 Carson City Farmer's Market from
8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Tuesday, June 8, 2021 - Mile High Jazz Band performs second dinner show (outdoors) at
Living the Good Life from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
July 2021
Sunday, July 4, 2021 - Carson City Symphony - with Carson Chamber Singers, vocalist
Jakki Ford, and Joyful Noise Children's Choir - perform for Genoa Americana Celebration in Mormon
Station State Park at 4:30.
Tuesday, July 6, 2021 - Mile High Jazz Band performs second dinner show (outdoors) at
Living the Good Life from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, July 10, 2021 - I perform on piano and trombone with Adam Cohen (guitarist &
leader) and others for Carson City Farmer's Market from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
August 2021
Aug. 13-29, 2021 - Jazz & Beyond Carson City Music & Art Festival. I am one of the
chief organizers of the event, now in its 18th season. Events listed at

Tuesday, August 24, 2021 - Mile High Jazz Band and Carson High School jazz band perform
a joint concert at McFadden Plaza, probably at 7:00 p.m.
Up until March 2020, most Mile High Jazz Band gigs
were on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at either Living the Good Life (Jan., Feb.,
April, May, July, August, Oct., and Nov.) or at Comma Coffee (March, June, Sept., and Dec.).
