It is available as an unlisted video on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhH-uEksGCg. The band presents its first virtual big-band recording, each individual part recorded by band members and guests artists in their homes in July 2020. The festival will stretch into September (and perhaps later) with some live performances in front of a small audience, plus some live-streamed, streamed, and rebroadcast events on the Internet.

I made an arrangement called "Christmas Tuba Fantasy" featuring five Christmas tunes for tuba-euphonium quartet (2 euphonium parts and 2 tuba parts) to be used in a virtual project. We invited musicians from the Reno area, other parts of the United States, and abroad to be involved. The resulting video can be viewed at youtube.com/watch?v=-3cgjMHE5bc. |
